Hi, this is Joel Hunter. And I’m here today to remind you of something you probably already know. It’s about being undefeated. I heard a saying that goes like this when somebody tries to bury you. They will be surprised when they realize you were a seed. There’s an ancient story about Antaeus, a Greek God who was the son of Poseidon. He was a wrestler, and he challenged people to wrestle him. But his unique capability was every time he was thrown to the ground, he got stronger. So he was never defeated in a wrestling match. Does it remind you of somebody who was buried and came out even stronger? That is the one who lives inside of you, Jesus himself said. Unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. If it dies, it produces many seeds. The way to remain undefeated is not to avoid defeat. It is to get up from your defeat and go on. And the reason God helps us up after defeat is so that we can help others.
